8 College Would You Rather Questions, Mondays Off vs Fridays Off

College is full of choices. Your schedule, your place, your roommate, even your seat in the library. Here are eight where both options are bad, or both are great. Try them with your classmates. The answers split more than you'd think.

1. If you could go back to before college, would you change your major?

AYes, I would

BNo, I would not

I'd keep it. My classes weren't always fun. But the people I met in that program are still my closest friends.

If you'd switch, I'm curious. What would you pick instead?

2. Library during finals. Who's worse to sit next to?

ASomeone who keeps bouncing their leg

BSomeone who keeps sighing

The leg bouncer. When the desks are connected, the shaking travels all the way to my side and the page starts to wobble.

The sighing I kind of get. During finals, I do it too without noticing.

3. Which professor is worse?

AOne who writes brutal exams

BOne who assigns brutal papers

At first I said exams. Your grade comes down to one day.

But papers never end. An exam is over when you walk out. With a paper, you keep finding things to fix until the deadline. So now the paper professor scares me more.

4. Which is worse?

AFive exams in one day

BFive papers due after the semester ends

This one ties into number 3, but here I'd take the five exams. You just have to survive one day. With five papers waiting after the semester, break never really starts.

5. Both are great, but which is better?

ANo classes on Mondays

BNo classes on Fridays

Fridays off. The weekend starts the second Thursday's last class ends. You can stay out late Thursday night with zero guilt.

If you picked Mondays, I'm guessing you want to save your Sunday nights. That's pretty tempting too.

6. Which roommate is worse?

AOne who snores really loud

BOne who showers once a week

Earplugs can handle snoring. Nothing handles the smell. B is way worse for me.

7. Which is worse?

AA four-hour round-trip commute with transfers

BA studio right by campus, with cockroaches

I had to think about this one. Four hours a day is like two whole classes spent on the train.

Still, I'd take the commute. I can nap on the train. In a room with cockroaches, I'm not sleeping at all.

8. For one whole break, you have to live without one. Which?

AYour friends

BYour phone

I'd give up the phone. I can still message friends from my laptop. But with no friends, a phone just means nobody to text.

Which way would you go?

Which of the eight would start the longest argument with your classmates? For me it's number 5. Infinite Balance gets a new would you rather theme like this every week. Grab it here.
