It's still October, and the coffee shop down the street is already playing Christmas songs. So here are some Christmas questions. This is the "Winter Means Christmas" theme from our balance game app Infinite Balance. It has eight questions, but the first snow and snowball fight ones were already in my winter would you rather post, so I left those out. Six questions.
1. Which Christmas side gig would you take?
AFill in for Rudolph (the sleigh is SO heavy)
BFill in for Santa (might get mistaken for a burglar)

Rudolph. I can deal with heavy. What I can't deal with is locking eyes with a homeowner in their own living room at 2 a.m.
My friend picked Santa. "You get to drop off the presents and eat the cookies and milk," she said. I hadn't thought of that.
2. There's a gorgeous Christmas tree, but the line is huge
AWait and get the photo
BJust walk past

If I'm alone, I walk past. If I'm with someone, I wait.
Last year I stood in line for 40 minutes at the tree outside a department store, because the friend I was with really wanted the shot. My hands were frozen. But the photo came out great, and it's still her profile picture. Every time I see it, I think the wait was worth it.
3. If you had to pick one for Christmas
ALuxury staycation at a 5-star hotel with a friend
BNo dinner reservation, bouncing around, but with your partner

I think your answer here depends a lot on whether you're seeing someone right now.
I'm going with B. One Christmas we couldn't get a table anywhere and ended up eating takeout pizza in the car. Weirdly, that's the Christmas I remember best. You can do a staycation any time of year.
4. What comes to mind when you think of Christmas?
AThe Christmas tree
BSanta Claus

The tree. Every December when I was a kid, my mom and I would pull the tree out and wrap the lights around it. The lights were always tangled, and untangling them took an hour every time. So for me, Christmas is the day you untangle the lights. What comes to mind first for you?
5. What gift do you want from Santa?
ASuper practical, 100% useful
BFull-on Christmas vibes, all the feels

I used to say practical, every time. When you get something like a snow globe, the first thing you think is "where do I put this?"
But a small snow globe a friend gave me a few years ago is still on my desk. All the practical gifts got used up and are long gone. These days I think the sentimental ones are pretty nice too.
6. Christmas is all about...
AMovies at home
BA packed holiday festival in the square

Movies at home. I always watch Home Alone at least once. I've lost count of how many times I've seen it, and I still watch it every year.
Out of the six, how many did you pick the same as me? There are still two months until Christmas, so try a few at your next get-together. Infinite Balance gets a new theme like this every week. Grab it here.
